PS8803 – USB-C SWITCH WITH CC LOGIC CONTROLLER AND USB 3.1 GEN 2 RETIMER
The PS8803 addresses high-speed signal switching and signal integrity requirements for the implementation of a USB Type-C (or USB-C) connector on a USB host or device that supports USB 3.1 transport data rates up to 10Gbit/sec (Gen 2). To compensate for PCB signal loss and other signal distortion, the PS8803 includes a signal retiming function.
The PS8803 also integrates a CC logic controller for Ra/Rd/Rp sensing on the CC lines and automatically switches the USB channel upon connection and orientation detection. The device also supports Intel DCI (Direct Connect Interface) for closed chassis debugging over the USB Type-C port.

PS8823 – USB-C RETIMING SWITCH FOR SINGLE LANE USB 3.2 GEN 2 DEVICE
The PS8823 addresses high-speed signal switching and signal integrity requirements for the implementation of a USB Type-C (or USB-C) connector on a USB host, hub, or device that supports a single lane of USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps). The device includes a signal repeater that compensates for cable and PCB signal loss and other sources of signal distortion.
